- Create a channel in your Slack workspace where you want to receive Adversarial notifications. If one already exists, skip this step.
- Go to your Slack workspace settings at my.slack.com/account/workspace-settings.
- From the menu on the left, navigate to the Integrations page.
- On the top right, select Build. This takes you to the Your Apps page.
- Select Create an App.
- On the popup, select From scratch.
- Enter a name for your app in the App Name field.
- Select the workspace in which you wish to develop your app.
- Click Create App.
- You will be taken to the Basic Information page. On the left pane under the Features section, select Incoming Webhooks.
- Toggle the Activate Incoming Webhooks switch to On.
- Under Webhook URLs for Your Workspace, select Add New Webhook.
- On the next page, assign your designated Adversarial notifications channel via the Channel for webhook dropdown.
- Select Allow.
- You will be navigated back to the Incoming Webhooks page. Under Webhook URLs for Your Workspace, copy the generated Webhook URL.
- Navigate to your Adversarial tenant, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Locate the Slack integration and click Connect.
- Enter the Channel Name.
- Paste the Webhook URL copied from step 6e.
- Click Confirm to finalize the integration.
- Navigate to Settings > Notifications under the Company settings section. These notification settings are for the organization, not the individual. Configure the notification to be sent to your designated Slack channel.
